Driving Directions:
From I-5 Southbound: take Exit #169, NE 45th St. Turn left (east) at stoplight onto 45th. Skip to ** below.
From I-5 Northbound: Exit #169, NE 45th St. Stay in right lane, turn right at light onto 45th eastbound.
**On 45th, go east for 1.5 miles, passing University of Washington.
At the bottom of the hill, turn left at the stoplight and continue on NE 45th St.
NE 45th bears left and become Sand Point Way NE. Turn right at the stoplight onto Children’s Campus.
From the Eastside: Take 520 west over Evergreen Point Bridge. Take the Montlake exit, which puts you onto Montalke going north. Go 1.1 miles. Bear right onto NE 45th St. which becomes Sand Point Way NE. Turn right at the stoplight onton Children's campus.
By Metro Bus: Bus #75 drops you on Sand Point Way, at the entrance to hospital campus. Turn right at first driveway (Helen Lane). Use Giraffe entrance. Bus #25 drops you on NE 45th St. Follow signs to whale garage. Walk through garage.
Finding the Wright Auditorium: Park on the 1st level of the Giraffe parking lot and enter the hospital at the Giraffe Entrance. The Wright auditorium is just ahead on your left, past the info desk and gift shop.
The Giraffe parking lot is also used by families visiting sick children and is especially full in the evening. The Whale garage at the top of the driveway would then be the preferred parking. From the Whale entrance, you will need to use the Train or Giraffe elevators to get to the first floor.. Go into the building, and take elevator to the 5th floor, if necessary. On the 5th floor, go down the long hallway through the building. It will jog a few times; just keep following signs to Giraffe. Take the Giraffe elevator to the first floor, then turn left. You’ll be at Wright Auditorium.
There is no charge for parking.
There are greeters at the desk as you enter the hospital if you have any questions.
To facilitate starting class on time, please allow 10 minutes to walk from parking to classroom.
